Commonly used air handling systems operate by recycling air in order to save energy. However, recycling air that has been extracted from the building can contaminate the new air with viruses or bacteria, and recycling air can lead to a build-up of pollutants in the air.

Genatis has designed an air handling system that operates with 100% fresh air and no air recirculation, avoiding contamination of fresh air by extracted air.

How to improve and moderate thermal comfort in an aquatic center ?

As part of the modernization of the Sarralbe swimming pool, the communauté de communes de Sarreguemines Confluences decided to replace the old air handling system, comprising two separate units for the pool hall and changing rooms. The old system was inadequate and partially dysfunctional. The swimming pool, with a 250m² pool and a total surface area of 990m², requires the treatment of a volume of 4000m³.

At present, the choice has been made to open the roof in summer, accepting outdoor conditions without specific air treatment for dehumidification or cooling.
